Path breaking initiative of Scitech Park got consent from Shri Ashok Chavan, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Maharashtra & Chairman, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, during 125^th Board meeting of (MMRDA). The decision was unanimously taken to develop Asia’s largest Innovation Park.

Innovation Park proposed near Mumbai will be a landmark of Innovation Initiative in India. It will be a major driver of wisdom, knowledge and creativity. Designed for least carbon footprint the Park will be the perfect destination for global Innovation and Entrepreneurship community that respects finest quality of life with sustained economic growth with highest regards for nature. This will be a strong magnet for a knowledge driven society.

This Innovation Park will become a leading hub of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Asia. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) a Government of Maharashtra undertaking, is fully committed to provide all the support by way of equity, all the offsite infrastructure like connectivity to all major roads, airport, harbor and rail links and a single window clearances. The project will be implemented as public private partnership (PPP) front ended by Industries and on Build Operate and Own basis (BOO)
