• Scitech Park, is the apex body for implementing Eco – housing Certification. • The Developer submits the project plan to the Building Permission Department of Pune Municipal Corporation to ensure that the project meets the existing PMC norms and gets sanction. • On approval, the developer registers his project for Eco – housing certification with Scitech Park and pays the certification fees @ Rs.2/sq.ft. of built up area. • The developer hands over the Registration Form (2 copies), Tracking Sheet (2 sets) and Submitals (2 sets) to Scitech Park. • Scitech Park scrutinizes registration phase documents with the help of submittals and site visit and issues Provisional Eco – housing Certificate and Certified Tracking Sheet to the builder. Based on the star rating Scitech Park awards to a project, PMC grants 50% of total rebate on space premiums to the Developer. • Validation team evaluates compliance with eco–housing assessment criteria during different phases of registration, pre-construction, construction and post-construction phases based on the intent of compliance of the Developer according to the Certified Tracking Sheet. • The final Eco – housing Certificate with star rating is handed over after completion of the project. PMC will then extend the remaining 50% of rebate on the space premiums for Eco – housing Certified Projects. • The validity of the certification is granted for 5 years after which the certificate has to be renewed.
