• Every measure has a submittal requirement to ensure compliance.
• Measures are allocated points around 8 focal areas based on its impact on environment and its relevance to local conditions like: Site Planning, Environmental Architecture, Energy Efficient Lighting, Solar Water Heaters, Efficient Building Materials, Water Conservation, Segregation of Waste and Other Innovative Technologies.
• Certification will be based on assessment of submittals and site visits by validation team.
• 1000 point system that incorporates 88 measures (28 measures are mandatory rest are voluntary)
• 500 points required to qualify for Eco – housing Certification.
