Incubating Technologies is a mandated objective of the Scitech Park, it is evident that incubation is a  method of encouragement of entrepreneurship in any industrial climate. The apex body National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) also encourages Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Park's (STEP) to initiate incubation programs within STEP's so that the ideas that germinate in a nursery called STEP are allowed to take roots and grow as successful enterprises in the Technology Business Incubator (TBI)
Scitech Park has established a separate institution aptly named the GROWTH LAB where it experiments on growth.
Incubation services are augmented by:

• Provision of Common Services
• Having a pool of experts as advisory support
• A board of mentors for continuous hand holding.
• SEED fund support.
• Initiation of Product management and market management.
